Reiki Healing
REIKI originated in Japan and is a form of natural holistic energy treatment, designed to positively boost our sense of well-being and inner balance and calm.
There is no belief or religious system required to receive Reiki healing which means it is open to everyone.
Reiki treatments help to harmonise and balance the energy flow in the body and therefore has many health benefits, helping to relax the body and calm the mind, reduce pain, stress and anxiety, whilst increasing overall energy flow.
The treatment experience is very gentle and relaxing and only requires removal of shoes for the purpose of relaxing in a reclining chair, or treatment couch. The Reiki practitioner places their hands either on, or just above, various points on the body to enable the channelling of Reiki universal life force energy.
Clients often report feeling deeply relaxed and with a sensation of warmth radiating from the practitioner's hands, even sometimes without direct contact.
